Recruitment Counselor Definition

Your recruitment counselor will be your encouragement, guidance and support during fall sorority recruitment and beyond. She will lead you from chapter to chapter, keep track of your party schedules, and be there for you 24 hours a day when you need advice or unbiased opinions. There are 34 recruitment counselors who will have around 20 potential new members each. Your recruitment counselor, who you will meet on August 27th, will be your connection to the world of Panhellenic sororities as you Add A Chapter To Your Life. I look forward to meeting each of you in the fall. Go Bears and go Greek!

Lindsay Allen

Hi! My name is Lindsay and I am from Orinda, California. I am a sophomore and am planning to major in Public Health and Psychology. I am involved on campus with the Sage Mentorship Project as well as Nourish International, and work as a swim coach in the summer. I love spending time with friends and family, playing sports, listening to music, reading and hanging out with you guys!

Arianna Benedetti

Hi! I’m Arianna Benedetti. I’m a junior from Fremont majoring in Sociology and minoring in Education. I’ve been involved with CalSO and with The Vagina Monologues on campus and enjoy reading, swimming, and doing yoga. This is my second year as a recruitment counselor and I’m thrilled to be doing it again!

Hey! My name is Kimberly Chen and I’m a 3rd year Chemical Biology major. I’m from San Marino, CA so UC Berkeley has been a breath of fresh air. In my free time I love to dance, read, and watch TV. I can’t wait to meet you at Fall Recruitment!

Hi, I’m Kelsey! I’m a sophomore from Los Angeles majoring in English and Political Science. I currently work in Public Affairs and love writing & politics. Hello! I’m Jordan Goldberg and I’m a proud member of the Greek system here at Cal! I’m a third year from Burbank, CA working for a major in Linguistics and minor in Anthropology. Cheers! I’m Emma Hanley from San Francisco, California. I am a second year majoring in Art History and I’m hoping to spend spring semester in Berlin. I am VP of Sage Mentorship Project, involved in Prytanean Women’s Honor Society, and an avid photographer. Outside of school, I love scuba diving, pilates, traveling, tea, movies, music, and any type of dark chocolate. I am excited to meet you all in fall during Formal Recruitment!

Hi! I’m Stephanie, and I’m a Sophomore from Rancho Palos Verdes, California majoring in Chemical Biology. Currently, I’m in Movement, which is a dance group on campus, and in my free time, I love to go to the beach, shop, play soccer, and eat (especially at late night). Hey! My name is Kate and I’m a junior double majoring in Media Studies and American Studies. I’m from Orange County and absolutely love being up at Berkeley (the food is so much better here!). Ciao, I’m Cailyn Katsev from Santa Barbara, California. I am a sophomore majoring in Political Economy and plan to study abroad in France. At Berkeley, I am involved in Sage Mentorship Project, promoting the Nike Women’s Marathon and intramural sports. In my free time, I love running, playing in the sun, biking, honey, water skiing, and eating Fijian cuisine. I can’t wait to be part of Formal Recruitment and meet you all in fall.

Hi! My name is Sarah Kingston and I am a sophomore pre-med student from Santa Barbara, California. I love running, playing volleyball, going to the beach and doing anything outdoors. Hey, my name is Hannah and I’m currently a junior here at Cal. I’m from Beverly Hills, California and I’m majoring in Media Studies (also thinking about doubling in Sociology). I absolutely love to laugh, joke around and play pranks on people…so beware! When I’m not busy being a recruitment counselor, I enjoy writing poetry, watching sports, reading, going to the movies and laying out at the beach. Hi, I am Daniela and I am a sophomore from Los Angeles, California. I am a Psychology major and Education minor, and I volunteer as a mentor at a local elementary school. I play on two intramural soccer teams, both indoor and speed soccer, and I also love to run and go to the beach. I am so excited to meet you!

Chelsea Maniscalco

Hi, my name is Chelsea and I’m a senior from Los Altos, CA. I am majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology with a minor in Music. I’m involved with the MCBcDNA club on campus, tutoring chemistry at the Student Learning Center, volunteering at Stanford Children’s Hospital, research at UCSF, the Cal Wind Ensemble, and peer advising at the MCB undergraduate office. In my free time I enjoy playing field hockey and soccer, scrap booking, and watching Modern Family. I am very excited to meet several of you during Recruitment!

Hi, I’m Kelsey and I’m a junior from Whittier, California. I am majoring in Sociology. I am deputy Chair for UC Berkeley’s Dance Marathon and I am also involved with Berkeley’s FaceAIDS chapter. I am making it my mission to discover all the cool coffee shops in Berkeley!

Hello! I’m Kelly and I’m a sophomore from Long Beach, California. This year I served as the Chief Deputy of City Affairs for the ASUC, Cal’s student government, and I’m going to be involved next year as well. I’m majoring in History with a minor in Public Policy, and in my free time I like to go on photosafaris, which are picture taking adventures in nature or other fun places with my friends! I’m majoring in Conservation and Resource Studies and am involved with CalStar Yoga and the Global Medical Brigades here at Berkeley. My major is Society and Environment and I’ve been involved with intramural sports on campus as well as volunteering with Young Entrepreneurs At Haas (YEAH). Hello my name is Alison Toivola. I will be entering my fourth year here at Cal, finishing up a double major with a B.A. in Political Economy and a B.S. in Society and Environment, and I am super excited to begin my senior thesis!
