IFC Standards Board

The IFC Standards Board exists primarily to preserve the core values of all fraternities and to ensure that those are exemplified in the community.  Our committee was voted into existence by the presidents of each chapter Fall 2011 in order to demonstrate to the community our own system of accountability.  It is up to us to hold fraternities accountable for their actions, and decide whether any disciplinary action is necessary. Every fraternity has a common responsibility unto one another in maintaining the values, integrity and image of the community, and the Standards Board strives to ensure that this common responsibility is honored and upheld.  Ideally, the board’s existence will ease pressure from neighbors, local government, and police authority by offering positive and self sustaining resolutions to the CalGreeks community.
