Over the last few weeks, we've rolled out several new features on CalGreeks.com. Some of these features are small, such as visual improvements to various site sections. Others are substantial, including our new knowledge base, discussions boards and chapter services. Here are some details:
Discussion BoardsReaders can add their own comments to every news item released on CalGreeks.com. Further, the boards have independent topics such as Social, Philanthropy and OSL. Any registered member can start or add to ongoing discussions. Questions can be posted here, and the Greek Life Staff will do their best to provide answers.
Knowledge BaseAs they are released, policies, procedures and information will be added to the Knowledge Base so that chapter leaders and community members can find everything they need to know in one place. From lists of great philanthropy ideas to instructions for registering a party, you'll be able to find it at CalGreeks.com.
Public RelationsAny IFC-affiliated fraternity can have the IFC write their press release. If a chapter is holding a philanthropy event, or otherwise has something important to announce, the IFC PR team will create the release and send it to every applicable news agency in the area.
Meeting MinutesAll future minutes from IFC President's Council meetings will be available for download and viewing online. If someone missed a meeting, or wants to review a past meeting, they can do it at CalGreeks.com.
