CalGreeks Take Home Community Involvement Award! |

On the weekend of April 11-13th, the four councils of CalGreeks traveled to Burlingame to participate in the Western Regional Greek Leadership Conference (WRGLC). There, members attended educational breakout sessions covering a variety of leadership topics and also had the opportunity to talk to other councils and get new ideas for their individual positions. The councils also had the opportunity to hear from several keynote speakers, including David Coleman—the “Date Doctor”—who was at Berkeley during Welcome Week last fall! In addition to taking home these new ideas and skills, the joint councils of Panhellenic, IFC, MCGC and NPHC were awarded the Community Involvement award for their community service and philanthropic events of the 2007 calendar year!
