What Should I Wear?
Unity Day: Saturday September 6
This is the first day of recruitment and your first opportunity to meet sorority women at the chapter houses. As a group, you will visit all 12 sororities and become acquainted with the women in each chapter. The first day is the most casual, so jeans are suitable. As you will be walking a lot, comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
House Tours: Sunday September 7
On the second day of recruitment you will visit up to 9 chapter houses. Your schedule will now be different from the other women in your group, so you will no longer attend events with your group. However, you will meet with your Recruitment Counselor before your day begins. This day is slightly more formal than Unity Day, so a sun dress or nice pants are appropriate.
Philanthropy Night: Tuesday September 9
On philanthropy night, you will attend up to 6 events on the third day of recruitment. The events on this night are focused on each chapter's individual philanthropy and community service efforts. The attire for this night is business casual, so a dress or nice pants are appropriate.
Preference Night: Wednesday September 10
Preference Night is the last time you will visit the chapters as a potential new member. During this event chapter members will express to you the ideals and values of their sorority. You will visit up to 3 chapters on this night. As the most formal night of recruitment, business casual to semi-formal is appropriate.
What Should I Bring?
Things for Campus Residence
Comfortable walking shoes (No transportation is provided between recruitment functions)
A pant suit or dress for Preference night
