A Strong Showing for Cal Greeks at Relay for Life! |

On April 14th,
hundreds of students came together to walk laps around the Edwards Stadium
track and camp out for 24 hours during Cal’s fifth annual Relay for Life, a
nation-wide fundraiser that supports the American Cancer Society. The event featured music, performances by student groups,
henna tattoos, carnival games, cancer awareness programs, and food. Cal Greeks also sponsored a tent that
provided food and drinks for Greek participants. The event raised over $70,000 and Cal Greeks
impressively raised over $32,000! These
numbers are still rising as cash donations have yet to be counted. Special recognition goes to Delta Gamma who
raised over $8,600 and Alpha Omicron Pi who raised over $4,000!
