At the MTV Rock the Campus Concert, GAMMA (Greeks Advocating the Mature
Management of Alcohol) served "mocktails" to encourage safe and
responsible partying. GAMMA is a program that allows the Greek
Community to regulate itself in order to prevent the police from
getting involved and to maintain good relations with the city.
At the Greek BBQ, Panhellenic and IFC Councils grilled burgers and hot
dogs for students and staff passing by on lower Sproul to kick off the
spring semester! Panhellenic also accepted donations from students to
place their handprints on the "Get Your Hands Off Me" canvas that will
be donated to the Riley Center, and organization that offers safe
services to women in abusive relationships. Panhellenic and IFC raised
a total of $357.75 in just a couple of hours to donate to the Riley
Center!
