This Saturday, November 11, 1,000 students will undertake various service projects around the Berkeley area as part of the Berkeley Project, and we hope that many Greek chapters will be participating. If you haven't signed up and would still like to participate, please email Andrew Rowland at

Below is an excerpt from the Berkeley Project Website:
"This fall mark the outset of The Berkeley Project, the newest large-scale, student-run service event on the Berkeley campus. The Berkeley Project (BP, simply put) is setting out to permanently change the relationship between the students and residents of Berkeley. Our ultimate goal is to create a network of service projects which will a.) physically improve Berkeley and b.) forge a positive relationship between the campus and the community."
