Chapter Summary/Information: Delta Upsilon (ΔY) is the 6th oldest international, all-male, college, Greek-letter social fraternity and is the first non-secret fraternity ever founded. Delta Upsilon was founded in 1834 at Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts when 30 men came together in response to the activities of the two secret societies on the Williams campus. Delta Upsilon's mission is Building Better Men by focusing on the fraternity's non-secret heritage and Four Founding Principles: The Promotion of Friendship | The Development of Character | The Diffusion of Liberal Culture | The Advancement of Justice | Delta Upsilon's Vision is to be "the premier men's fraternity committed to Building Better Men for a global society through service, leadership development and lifelong personal growth of our diverse membership."

Message from the President: Our chapter here at Cal is one of the largest houses on campus. The brothers of DU can be found in leadership roles around campus and maintain one of the top GPA's in the Greek system. Our spacious house provides top-notch housing to our brothers at an affordable price, in both doubles and singles.

Annual Events: We believe in the value of a complete college experience, and pride ourselves in a complete social semester, hosting sorority exchanges, brotherhood events, and parties, including the famous "Singapore Sling" spring bash. We host both Fall and Spring Rush, so come by and see what DU has to offer.

Chapter Philanthropy: Delta Upsilon is very proud to be an integral part of the East Bay Community Scholarship Fund. Founded by a former president of the fraternity, it aims to provide books, writing tools, and other school supplies to needy families and children in the East Bay. Each semester Delta Upsilon participates in a school supply drive for the EBCSF where packages are filled with these supplies.

Delta Upsilon is an international fraternity, with over 80 chapters spread across the United States and Canada, promoting values of friendship, character, and justice among its brothers.
