Chapter Summary/Information: The Omega Chapter of Beta Theta Pi is a dynamic contributor to the UC Berkeley experience. Our members include Varsity athletes who compete in football, rugby, and swimming as well as club level athletes who participate in lacrosse and sailing. In addition, our house is extensively committed to philanthropic work in the local community. As an example, the executive team for The Sage Project a 300 person + mentorship organization are all active members of Beta Theta Pi. An additional philanthropy event is Beta Bowl, an organized sorority football tournament that is always fun to watch. In terms of professional connections, Beta alumni are bank presidents, CEO’s of Fortune 500 companies and are successful lawyers and doctors. Our alumni are committed to our organization’s growing success and are always willing to lend a helping hand. Beta’s extra-curricular commitments aside, our most important contribution is our dedication to academic excellence as Beta’s accumulative house GPA is one of the highest in IFC. An incentive for good grades is provided by a $500 scholarship per semester for Beta students who attain a GPA of 3.5 or higher. We welcome all those interested in learning more about Beta Theta Pi to stop by our house at 2728 Channing, have dinner with our members and come check out our exciting rush events. Go Bears!
