Additional Information

Chapter Summary/Information: ATΩ (Alpha Tau Omega, commonly known as ATO) is an American Leadership fraternity that has been associated with the UC Berkeley campus since 1900 that annually ranks among the top ten national fraternities for number of chapters and total number of members. ATO has more than 250 active and inactive chapters and was the first fraternity to be considered a national fraternity. We currently have 54 members, with 36 brothers living in our $1 million dollar newly renovated fraternity house that stands as the largest on the UC Berkeley campus. The men of Alpha Tau Omega are well-rounded individuals involved in all aspects of the UC Berkeley campus, including Cal Athletes, specifically Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, and the Triathlon team, the ASUC, social clubs, business, pre-law, and pre-law fraternities, and other various business clubs on campus. We hold a 3.3 GPA and stand top among fraternities. We participate in all IFC sports and are the defending Intramural IFC basketball champions. We pride ourselves in being men with class, men with honor, highly academic and involved, and being guys that get along with the entire Greek system and the UC Berkeley Campus. Come check out our diverse brotherhood housing the leaders of tomorrow.

Message from the President: Joining a fraternity is one of the most meaningful experiences a person can have in his life. It is difficult to express how important ATO has been to me in a few sentences. Obviously, it has been a place where I have taken part in my most memorable social experiences. What most people do not see is the opportunity to truly understand what it means to give back to the community, to learn essential leadership skills, to come together with fifty of your brothers to achieve a seemingly impossible goal, and most importantly, to form bonds with people I will call brothers for the rest of my life. To experience being in a brotherhood where all 50+ people support each other like we are family is truly amazing. Joining a fraternity and more specifically, joining ATO is a very rewarding experience but I urge you to come see for yourself instead of trying to research ATO through reading about us on a website. Don’t hesitate to call any of the numbers listed because that’s why they’re there!
